TRIVIUM: 'The Crusade' Lands In BILLBOARD Top 25
October 18, 2006TRIVIUM's new effort, "The Crusade", sold over 31,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land position No. 25 of next week's The Billboard 200 chart.
As previously reported, "The Crusade", debuted in the national U.K. album chart at No. 6 and is No. 1 on the rock chart. It has also been certified silver in the U.K. for sales in excess of 60,000 copies.
The follow-up to 2005's "Ascendancy", "The Crusade"was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, FL, just outside of Orlando. Once again produced by TRIVIUM and Jason Suecof, the CD is "a dazzling explosion of tight, intricate and instantly memorable songs that feature awe-inspiring musicianship from all four members of the band," according to a press release.
